Carl,

During our quick test in my training center on a floor that was laid and had lippage the first grit cut lippage really fast. We didn’t cut the area totally flat but cut enough to see how fast the diamond cut.  Will know more as we test at my location. We test with lippage and without lippage to see the results.

John had an old set of pads. I can tell you that these pads are going to
blow away the industry. In addition they have a new floor machine which is
a random orbital called The Beast. I witness two days ago the following.
They took 100 grit metal bond diamonds to rough up the surface of a black
absolute floor. they than went through three steps at at rate of 15 seconds
per step per square foot and then polished with a 11000 grit monkey pad wet
to dry. Now you guys know how much of a skeptic I can be...I was totally
blown away . they not only got a factory finish on black absolute but the
clarity was incredible.
