Do these 3 grinding steps include lippage? How many steps if starting compared to a 220 to polish?

If you all don’t know about Fred and myself we are hard to convince. When these pads were first brought to my training center and were told how they worked, Fred and I looked at each other and grinned, and quietly said to each other we’ll believe when we see it. Well we saw and we believe it.  Are there still in my mind so questions to be answered? Yes, I’m sure Fred still has some questions, but we Fred and I have the pads , I have the floors and the training center to test these pads more and we will over the next several week. As time progress we will up date.  Actually Dana wants  Fred and I to find the flaws in the pads if any so he can fix it .

Stay tune for future update.

Lets face it ladies and gentleman, the industry is making advances and with these advances we must adjust and diversify.  Its like a pager company still trying to market and sell pages, If they did not keep up with the times by offering cell phones they would be out of business. The stone restoration company is the same. You must keep up with the latest advances and think outside the box if you are going to succeed

Randy when I first heard of these pads I thought the same thing

There is a store here in Miami that sells all kinds of product, and he also does restoration and maintenance. We we call him Bob. He has all the advantages over me, but I still get the big contracts.  I never thought of him as my competition because he doesn't do the same quality work we do

Case in point a resort in the carribean.  They contacted me for this project, but the project was to big so I contacted Bob to see about partner for this project

Long story short Bob got the job.  With all the products tools and equipment he had he messed the project up.

They ended up calling me, I worked a deal with the resort they bought the equipment and products needed and I would consult and tell them how to maintain the stone. That was 4 yrs ago and to this day they still call me to consult and aide them in restoration

They will always be work for true stone craftsman

I can tell you that these pads are going to
blow away the industry.

This is true, One of my sayings I use a lot is: In this life everything has a good and a bad side.

This made me think back when the monkey pads came out, they (the monkey pads, twisters, ect.) was a help in some areas to make things easier...but I also remember how the carpet cleaning schools and floor installing stores where you buy grouts and thin set ect started promoting the pads to all their clients saying why not add this service while you are in the home doing your main profession.

In our area it seemed like competition of our industry doubled quickly. Especially when the carpet cleaning schools started sending fliers saying you no longer have to say we don't do marble or stone floors.

Keep being and doing your best and we'll still stand out from the crowd.

Randy
