Hi Fellas,

 

Most of my work has been concrete for awhile...but I am doing a job with a lot of marble tops. I was wondering... Does anyone go dry to restore marble? If you do, does it look as good as going wet? Obviously you still have to powder polish.

 

Today I polished a granite countertop edge to 3000 going dry, using my concrete 300 cfm vac. No dust anywhere. I couldn't believe it. Containing slurry on marble tops is always a bit of a headache, so I am thinking if I can restore going dry I will have no mess, and be done in much less time.

 

I know some go dry for touch ups.

 

Which pads could do you use? I ordered premium pads from SCC, but I see Viper and Talon make pads as well.
