Don't do it..I have done several porcelain tile jobs. I did them with a large planetary head machine and it was a nightmare. Stu is correct, you will go through a lot of diamonds.

Hi. I am looking at a job where porcelain tiles have been deeply scarred by a rotating machine used to take off tile mastic. These are those small round mosaic tiles set into a black matrix. The scratch patterns are such that, if this were marble, it would require metal diamonds. I was wondering if anyone has had success with filling the scarring with a white or clear epoxy or something similar. Maybe even color seal. Applied and the excess taken of with razor blades. This is assuming the scratches cannot be ground off and the tile polished. Thanks
