I can tell you that most workers suck!!! It sometimes doesn't matter what you pay them most of them are just out there for the dollar. We have used craigslist and also tried trade schools for kids right out if school.

Adam, getting the right people is tough. Right now I have a great crew, pay them well and I give bonuses for finishing ahead of schedule, being on time, progressive planning etc, heck changing of attitude. My crew had been with me for over 2 yrsWith the website generating so much work ( thanks Debbie and stone tile pros crew)I'm thinking of showing them were are expenses go and creating a workers fund. We the company will decide what to do with this money, Xmas fund, 401 k , upgrade eq it will be a company deciding not one individual
Sent by iPhoneDayron PadillaPerfect MarbleGuys and gals,More often then not, when we loose an employee and we struggle with finding a replacement. We already gave up on finding candidates with an experience and we look for somebody that we can train and mold to our needs. Now, we have a problem finding even those, entry level candidates. We use local newspapers, Craig's list, word of mouth, etc.1. I am wondering if you have any "honey holes" where you found good candidates/employees from?2. What incentives do you use to attract them (insurance, bonuses etc)?3. I know, that pay depends on the region but what hourly rate do you offer?Adam BartosBiO Tile & Grout Restoration
