You were correct at the end is your statement. We have struggled just like everyone else, we even went the route of military because they are 'disciplined' and have to follow a set of instructions and tasks... but they are people (and not machines like we were hoping). We have recently changed our philosophy and are looking for people with good customer service skills and an eye for detail. With most of the guys that I encounter, it's not that they can't do a good job and make corrections along the way, it's that they don't and sometimes can't recognize where the corrections need to be made. They are out there though, you just need to know what to look for and what kind of questions to ask in your ads.On Sep 11, 2013 2:33 PM, "Debbie Shaw | Stone and Tile PROS" <firstname.lastname@example.org> wrote:Here's another thought. I spoke with someone recently that had recently left the military. He suggested going to Reserves offices and posting notices and talking to people. He explained that people coming out of the military are looking for direction and opportunities. After years of being told what to do when and having very regimented lives, they are hit with culture shock. I think it is worth a shot.Everyone is telling me finding good help is almost impossible. I just had this conversation with someone else this morning.

I can tell you that most workers suck!!! It sometimes doesn't matter what you pay them most of them are just out there for the dollar. We have used craigslist and also tried trade schools for kids right out if school.
