with all the damage I see from women destroying travertine with their high heels, I cant imagine what a car would do to it. Did they set it with thinset? hopefully they used an exterior grade one..

Run away as fast as u can.  Nothing I know will do that without making it slippery where cars won't stop when it's wet or that will not cause damage to the stone over time. Good luck.
