We get calls to clean and seal bathroom tiles all of the time. A lot of times it really isn't worth the cost I sending one of our guys to clean a small bathroom, but color sealing makes it worthwhile. Also the difference to me is dramatic compared to what old grey or white grout looks like after just cleaning. It is very easy to take a test kit along and show what it will look like.

I agree with all of the above-color sealing can be very profitable and customers love it.
We haven't had any negative experiences using any of the main products out there.
The only issue I can think of is working on quarry tile or slate with poor installations.
Sometimes there are areas where the tile and grout lines are flush and it will make application in those areas tedious.
We don't color seal installations with chiseled edges.

Also gives you the ability to change the color of the grout.  For example,  if the original grout was white but now they painted and want the grout to be antique white.
It also makes the grout a uniform color.  Sometimes even brand new grout can be different shades from different lots.
Some of them contain an antimicrobial.
It provides more protection than an impregnating sealer because it is a topical.
