Barry,

Mix a poultice using DE powder and Mineral sprits , mix into a pancake / peanut butter consistency apply over the stain area approximately ΒΌ inch thick cover with plastic then place a series of holes in the plastic so the air can dry the poultice. The mineral sprits will go into the stone break down the grease and then as the DE powder dries the oils will be pull from the stone.

Subject: [sccpartners] Poultice

Hi partners,

I saw some stains left by bacon grease (left overnight) on a new granite counter top and I am looking for some suggestions for the ingredients to use in a poultice that would be efficient and quick acting.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks......Barry
