Slip Grip has a friction sealer for natural stone. It works inside but you may check with them for the outside. I dont see why it should not work outside. It is impregnating sealer, not topical and you apply with a floor machine just like a regular sealer. I measured cof before and after the application on many floors and you should get around .8 to .9. If not, apply one more time and you will get there.
Check slipgrip.com and talk to Rod Eden he is nice guy wil lots of experience he will guide you.
Good luck.

Micah,

If the stone is cleaned properly and sealed there should not be a slip issue.  If the floor is not keep clean, a dirty floor can be a slippery floor. if the floor get wet then you have the chance of hydroplaning, even adding a slip element to the surface when wet you can hydroplane.

After the cleaning if you have a slip meter you will find the surface will exceed .50 which meets the slip resistance unless there is a wheel chair ramp then you need to meet at least .60 or greater.

With a clean floor you should have slip reading in the .55 or above. Which is safe.

Subject: [sccpartners] Anti slip for outdoor marble foyer

This foyer is over 100 years old we are cleaning and sealing it, they are asking about something that can help for slip resistance, any suggestions?  I really did not want to put a topical sealer on this stone though.

Thanks
