Stuart ,
You are on the right track, I would approach this job the
following way
1.
Clean the entire shower using a neutral, cleaner, or if there is
a lot of soap and lime deposit I would recommend using Pristine Soap Film
remover from StoneCare Central
2.
After the initial cleaning then attack the mold using a
bleach solution. I would recommend a stronger solution this will speed up the
process.
3.
Once the mold is removed wash down the wall again using a neutral
Cleaner ( Daily Clean from stone Care Central )
4.
Once everything is cleaned check all the grout and caulk and
make any necessary repairs.
5.
Allow the shower stone to totally dry ( Place a fan in the
shower ,and go have lunch ) when you return the shower should be dry the apply an
impregnating seal ( Stone Sentry from StoneCare Central )
Once you competed the job then take the opportunity to sell the
customer the proper care products from StoneCare Central
1. Stone
Plus Cleaner for Natural Stone ( concentrate or ready to use )
2. Pristine
soap Film Remover
3. Blast
Mildew Stain Remover
By offering these products to your you adding on sales and
profits to your job and the customer will order these through your website and
will place reorders which keeps you name in front of the customer and you make
monay every time a customer reorders these products

Subject: [sccpartners] tumbled travertine in shower
Next week I will be cleaning a shower of the tumbled
travertine. The bottom of the walls have turned black due to mold?
mildew? Its my job to get that stuff off. What comes to mind is
a 15% bleach solution. Any other ideas out there? |
