We're going to see a lot more of this in residential and commercial settings, as a more convenient option to tile, stone, and wood. The quality and look of the higher end products are great. The maintenance by the consumer is minimal, compared to the other options. We installed LVT (luxury vinyl) in our home throughout our 1st floor. With a pool & 3 dogs, maintenance is foolproof. The last thing that I want to do after busting my butt all week is to clean and maintain my own floors.Blain Haeg

Its just that we got a new contract and the floor had some kind of sealant on it. Thats what we've been doing so far, but more requests started to come in for similar flooring.

Subject: Re: Anthony RoachThere are a lot of flooring types that fall under "resilient tiles." Newer floors are far more durable than the old VCT. I believe most manufacturers advise against applying a coating but recommend the use of a neutral cleaner and a white pad or red pad if you must to keep clean.

Good day SccPartners,
I have been getting a lot of calls for 'resilient tiles'. Even some places I have contracts have installed them. Do I treat them like vinyl and strip wax and seal them or is there a proper sealant specifically for this? Thanks in advance, can use any help I can get.
