you can hone this sink, use a 2 or 3 inch back up pad on you hand machine and get some flexible diamonds pads. I have used the metal back 220, 400 800, there I enough give to the diamond you can make it follow the contour of the sink then polish with  5X using the 2 or 3 inch back up pad and a 5 inch hair pad to polish.

I have a client with marble bathroom sink bowls. There are deep scratches inside the bowls.

I do not want to put a lot of pressure on them because they might break at the base. 

They cannot be removed. Any ideas on how to repair the scratches.
