If the joints are open use foam rodding and plastic sheeting,Saran and tape above
If the joints are filled which is hardly ever cause the wood flex we use plastic and tape
Sometimes we will work around the wood by hand
Depends on type of wood and age

Can someone I>D> this stone. It is in a busy commercial building lobby. Yes those are wood insets. The floor needs a restoration. Could I get some input on how you would work around the wood. heavy tape may pull the finish off.
