Yes-exactly -from what I see you can probably run 220g diamonds up to 800 or wherever you like to finish.
The material will do well with 5X , MB-12, MB-22, Diaglo and so on.
Possibly lower if there is deep scratches. We have done a bunch of floors with wood.
You will be fine. Even if you damage the coating on the wood it is easy to repair using some 120/220 sandpaper and matte or glossy polyurethane.

Can someone I>D> this stone. It is in a busy commercial building lobby. Yes those are wood insets. The floor needs a restoration. Could I get some input on how you would work around the wood. heavy tape may pull the finish off.
