If the joints are filled which is hardly ever cause the wood flex we use plastic and tape 

Sometimes we will work around the wood by hand

Can someone I>D> this stone. It is in a busy commercial building lobby. Yes those are wood insets. The floor needs a restoration. Could I get some input on how you would work around the wood. heavy tape may pull the finish off.
