Sounds like you're getting the short end of the stick.

A number of weeks ago I brought up the issue with swirl marks. With feed back from you guys we got that problem resolved. But another problem remains with that job. Foot prints on the marble floor, pls see attached picture. We got called back immediately do to foot prints on the stone. We had to re-service those areas because we could not whip them away. Fixed it and then got called back again due to foot prints that could not be removed.  But I noticed that the floor was always sticky where it was not covered with runners. Under the runners it was not sticky. Upon inspecting the cleaner they where using, it contained orange oil and hydrogen peroxide, . Serviced the floor again to remove the foot prints and starting then on using a cleaner design just for stone. The floor is no longer sticky and the foot prints can be removed with a spray cleaner.  But they are still getting foot prints and their contention is,  that this was not a problem before we serviced the floor and must be resulting from our process.
This picture was taken today and I noticed and brought it to their attention that the runners where slightly damp. We are going back again this Monday night to redo the floor. I am positive that is not going to solve the problem. The surface of the floor is hard and smooth to the touch. I have my thoughts on what is causing the problem. I was looking for any input from others that may suggest what is causing the problem and how to resolve the issue.

Thanks,
