I have used both the  acrylic repair gel and paste with the light curing agent ( not the self curing one. The gel is pretty much the same thing as Plexus. The paste works the same way but is less free flowing and stays put better. I'm not sure one is better than the other except that perhaps the paste is better for bigger or deeper gouges and the gel is maybe better for tiny scratches and hairline scratches. I also bought some of their color syringes (I didnt see them in the products listing but they show up if you search for the key word color).
