Straight screw driver between the nails and under wood strip, break the wood strip off all the nails and use a dremel metal cutting tool to zip off the nail even with the surface. In concrete polishing we cut bolts out of concrete with bigger hand grinders and cut wheels or saws-all but your dealing with a tiny nail.
