you know one thing I did after years of throwing money away on plastic is invest sheets of plastic cardboard from Home Depot..great for straight runs, doorways, etc...I keep about 6 in the van..in a house it eliminates about half or more of the taping off...you still have tape the bottoms, but depends on how much water is being used.
