Yes-
Yes we do a lot of countertops-all kinds-
I just always figured we had to use the makitas anyway which have worked fine for us. So I never wanted to invest in more stuff to carry around in the trucks.
Then there are more diamonds to buy and something else that can break.
When we have a large unobstructed counter run we just put the swing machines up there.
That's works great for us.
Most people I speak to seem to like the planetary countertop machines.

So you sell these machines?
Do you not use them because you don't do a lot of countertops?
Sometimes I have to stay on an island for many hours with the makita and then do some areas over again.
I am thinking the planetary will save me time and do a much better job.

I agree with john the Samich countertop machine is awesome
Personally I don't use one but have been thinking about it
The ones I have sold seemed to work out well for those guys or gals.
The machine is built well and comes in 4 or 5.5 inch diamond drivers

i bought the 12 inch one made by Lavina or superabrasive, I would not recommend..Spend a few more bucks and get the Samich...most of the planetaries are designed for concrete countertops in a fab shop, not for the real world

I'm polishing another huge Calcutta marble island and counter with a hand machine. I used a floor machine once on a 2 inch thick marble island and it came out perfect and fast but I'm afraid to break this one as it's only 3CM.
Does anybody have experience with the planetary machines out there for sale. I want to purchase one but would like to get some feedback first.
