This was a new tile and felt dry. Was setting in my home for a week.

There seems to be hundreds of small holes.

This is a water based sealer very thick mixing a harder to the primer.

When I used the roller it made the bubbles. Do need a different roller?

We had a similar problem with a terra cotta floor. Both the dealer and topcoat did this. Turned out they had a flood in the basement and the moisture was moving up through the tiles. Didn't happen in the area that was not above the basement. We had to strip the topcoat, apply lacquer thinner to the Alson mexiglaze in order to remove bubbles, then reapplied the topcoat very slowly. But wasn't a perfect solution.

I think it is vapor transmission.

We do the same on countertops-it does work really good-we also use some needles to pop the air bubbles as they rise.

This seems to help also.

One other thing we do is run the torch over the surface prior to applying as this seems to pull out any moisture.
