I use national chemical labs ceramic restoration cream for all of our ceramic and porcelain polishing. It works really well for us. It is easy to use and may be worth a test.

I think it is a crystallizer for ceramic of some sort.

No residue on surface, can't feel a difference on tiles, if you wet it, it darkens for a split second
