Hector,
I borrowed one years ago to test a floor for a building manager that had a slip & fall but I personally never seen the need for one.
I just did a sample on a granite floor that the building manager wants a test done.
I feel I have luckily gotten by this long without any incidents so I figured it is a good time to buy one and start keep records.
All commercial floors should be tested after any refinishing and records kept incase anything happens
Dr Freds inspection class might be a good place to learn more about this.

Thank you

I have a BOT 3000 and they are one of the best slip meters available for in field testing and give print outs. You just have to have them factory certified periodically.
