Tony-if you cant feel it then consider it a scuff.Try using 80 grit sandpaper(120 or 70 grit electroplated will work also) -you should see a difference.I really like those electroplated pads from AT. They cost a fortune but cut very well. You could drop lower to 60g if the 80 doesn't remove it.If you use 60 then finish the sanding with 80 grit paper before you go wet. Then go to 50 resin and up to 120 or 220 resin. Then most chiseled trav in kitchens are medium to high hone.Easily replicated with a vortex or similar pads.,On Wed, Oct 15, 2014 at 10:05 PM, Tony Warney <tony@excelstoneandtilecare.com> wrote:Hi, I have a Chiseled Travertine floor with a 60 ft long scratch. A refrigerator was dragged across the floor. I honed it with 120 resin pad and it did not make a difference. You cannot feel the scratch. I did not want to go down to 50 because you could see the difference in the sun reflection. Any ideas would help.
