I also did a floor just like this. Didn't do anything special with it, and it came out great.

Hi guys,

About to begin a marble project. I was wondering if anybody knows if this is a Calcutta marble??? It's about 50 years old.  There isn't any gold veining but a rose color instead. I hadn't seen this before. 

Any ideas?
