Use to bid a lot of work with prevailing wage up in NY state.  You cant bid by the square foot, you will have to calculate the manhours and than plug in the wage rate to bid on it. Dont forget to add your profit. Also I will bet there will be change orders. The problem is your guys are going to get paid way more than you would pay them normal. This can create problems but the money should be good for all.  As long you you get the job. The insurance requirements may also be strict and the paperwork hell. Good luck

Guys,

I've been contacted by a third party interested in hiring me to do a federal job where it's a prevailing wage.

I can't get in to see the project however the wording states cleaning and some honing. I'm hoping you guys can recommend a per sf price or total job price per 1000 sf. I think this could be 2-3,000sf. Again,  Federal and prevailing wage.

Thanks,
Ron
