sounds like the Prosoco's grind and fill is what I would be looking for. Too bad nobody local stocks it. it is something that I'm going to get so I have it all times.

We haven't tried this yet, but will soon. This maybe something for this job : for filling of travertine holes after a grind ... on the last metal step use Prosoco's grind and fill. Then densify. Just a thought.

You might want to double check to see how long the densifier should be on before starting your cutting begins. Some say once it is dry some say an hour some say overnight.
Best Regards,Randy Frye, CEI Surface Pros239-253-1991Doing testing tomorrow, I will let you know how it turns out

Working with that type lower quality travertine can be tough. It doesn't look good in any finish .Always seems to look smudgy.I haven't tried densifier on travertine yet but I have read and heard it may help. What we do when we run across this is to do a few sample finishes for the customer and let them pick one.I think most chose the deeper honed finish.I would like to know if you do some testing with densifier and results.
Sent from my iPhoneYikes!! look at the lippage, need to be ground flat. a maintenance pad will clean up a lot of the graininess, maybe start at 400 go to 800

Hello everybody,
We have a Travertine floor with a lot of graininess in it.
How well do the Densifiers/Lithium Hardeners work to remove/fill the graininess
Thank you
