Baird,
We used friction sealer from slip grip. It works very well on natural stone. COF goes up by about 40-50% per coat. It is easy and fast to apply.
Hi John. We are doing the polishing, so it is up to us what we do with the steps. I am recommending a honed finish, which we could coat. For terrazzo we generally use Ameripolish 3D SP which recently replaced Surelock. What are the slip additives you mentioned? On Mon, Feb 2, 2015 at 9:45 AM, John Freitag <jfreitag@thestoneandtileschool.com> wrote:
Are these steps and natural polish or a coating? If they are coated than
apply the slip additives that gives the stair a textured finish. A natural
polish leave at a hone finish or apply an anti -slip.

Subject: Non-slip for steps?
Hi does anyone have any ideas on making marble or terrazzo steps less
slippery without installing ugly skid guards (although nice ones might be a
solution).
Thanks. B
