One company is called Granite Shield and they claim it is lifetime. It's a hoax and the sealer is not much different than anything else. It's all a clever marketing ploy. Similar to Drt-Treat which is a very good product but the warrantee is only that it will be slightly better than a piece of tile that has NEVER been sealed, not that it will provide effective stain protection.

John is correct..just take a look at the disclaimers on these so called life time sealer..They basic say if you clean the stone the warranty is void.

Hi partners
Just had a question about lifetime sealers for granite. There are a lot of carpet cleaners in my area that are getting into polishing and sealing granite and I'm curious on your guys take on these lifetime sealers.
Thank you
