Barry, you might try testing a patch with traverfil and taking the diamonds to 3000. Having worked on quite a few terrazzo floors with a cement matrix, I have found that taking rhe diamond level up really does the trick. Might work as well with traverfil. Also using a final finish such as Ameripolish 3DSP will also impart some gloss without overkill.
