I have seen this before and it all has to do with absorbency of the stone. Apparently the blue celeste is more absorbant

There were many mosaics done-all with same material.Most didn't stain-but several along the edges of the joints stained.A 2 part 100% solid epoxy was used.It only stained the blue celeste nothing else.Thoughts?
