I talked to her today, as well, but I haven't been to the home. Since it's been 20 years since the floors were installed, with no professional maintenance since, I suggested that an aggressive cleaning and honing process will significantly improve her floor's appearance, including "lightening" it up, as she requested. She asked if my service would make the grout white again. I informed her that the grout was probably light beige & instructed her to look in a closet or under a rug or furniture that has been in place for a long time.
She asked about "floating" the floors. I suggested that it's unnecessary, but I can certainly provide an estimate for that additional service.
Appears to be a typical customer who hasn't maintained their floors but now wants to make them look new again. Could be a good project with a good payday. Do a comprehensive estimate. Rock it. Get paid.

I have a potential client who wants to have her travertine floors brightened up. She basically wants the grout filler to be colored seated. She has been talking to other companies who suggested having the floor floated or color sealed. Does anybody have experience with that?
I’m doing a cleaning and honing/polishing sample for her but not sure if that will satisfy her expectation.
