O-man don't open up this can of worms

Our Dex yellow pages has it in the fine print if you want to cancel you need to file the right paper work by calling and them sending it to you and if they don't hear from you when re-up starts... they can just sign you back up off your previous agreement. And different departments like the different cities,suburbs... internet listings all needed a different cancellation sent. Its took me 2.5 years to get out of that mess. I signed one cancellation notice thinking it was for all my advertising of all areas with them. Found out when the statements kept coming...No that was only for this area, sorry its to late you will have to pay for the new year for the other listing, but the one listing you did cancel. Then they would say..Make sure you get your cancellation for these area before this date and that listing before this re-up date... Bla-bla-bla.

I know take a deep breath.. calm down.. O yes the representative figured when I was calling her cell phone to say what the heck, she never answer her phone or return my calls.

grrr!!

Hello everybody,
Is anybody still using the yellow pages as a source for advertising and how are they making out with it?
