I use them all of the time and really like them.  I wanted to use #2 primarily, but on shiny stone, they seem to skate over the stone, so I begin with #1.  After the #1, I usually can go over the floor with an 800 grit diamond-encrused pad, then polish.  I have never gone through all 4 pucks.  Tony, start by buying a set of the #1's and #2's and see how you like them.  Also buy the thick velcro (spongy) backer pads that Innovative Solutions sells and mount the pucks on them permanently because they grip onto the velcro so tight that the pucks are very difficult to pry off.  I use one of the "brush type" backer pads to attach to my machine to hold onto the spongy pad.  With this set up it is easier to separate the spongy pad from the brush backer pad.  Use weights for best results.

They work great. They have to be used differently. If you go all the way to step 4 you will still have to polish a little for the clarity, an 11000 monkey pad and a small amount of powder. If you want to use to replace conventional diamond honing you can of with step 2 alone and powder polish, or maybe 1 and 2 if there is a lot of damage, or 2 and 3 if it is not too bad and a stone type you need to close up the pores more to get a polish.

Is anyone using Cheetah Pucks? I Have thought about buying them
to use one some jobs. What is the opinion or experience?
