Agreee with Bob.  You need to calculate your daily rate based on overhead etc. that way you can determine your daily rate.  It also depends on your location etc.  check out the pricing chapter Iin The stone restoration manual at sr-manual.com

Depends on how you define polish, but I would charge a day rate. Also, where you are can make a difference too. Probably around $800-$1500 or more, based on the size and complexity.
