I guess the question is does the customer want the for flattened or do they just want the shine back? Each process comes with a cost.

If your going to flatten it I would charge $10-12 sqft up here in Phila.
My personal opinion with polishing after honing powders is you get a grainy appearance and not a flat appearance like you do with diamonds.

Why flatten hone with honing powders or a honing pad. Then 5x polish. If needed add q 10 or 20 pound weight to get t into the low corners.
