The marble and Ceaserstone, request were to be polished, I have not seen either yet just pictures.
That etched stone looks like a limestone to me.If it's textured use brushes or dip's to hone.Then maybe color enhance.The other pic of the brown where you can see the snakeskin is engineered possibly ceasarstone.Don't see any issues with this slab.What is it they want you to do.The lighter colored slab looks like a marble.I would guess it needs to be honed and polished.
Sent from my iPhoneSure looks like soapstone, try honing test a small areas. If it is quarts surfaces/ engineered stone/ solid surface. If its less than 5 to 8 years old it could be on warranty. Even though the warranty will not cover the damage on this material if it falls into the surfaces above you can void the warranty and you could own it.
