speaking of this I have the perfect scenario on penetrating sealers. a very good customer of mine has a glazed porcelain metallic bathroom floor just installed. they are getting very minut etchng which polishes out with a micro fine car polish. they contacted the manufacturer and they told them to seal it with HMK silicone impregnator. I tried to tell them that the impregnator is below the surface and not on top of the surface and they will still have the problem. they want it done anyway so why not, lol

Yeah you can try and educate them-They will in most cases just not get it.
They may hire some clean and seal guy and possibly have it sealed anyway.
Maurizio always ranted on about the sealing cult thing.
Looking back I have to laugh because sometimes we will do an occasional misapplied sealer removal on a polished black absolute.
Even after telling them the stone is very dense(and testing it for them) and technically cant be sealed .
As soon as we finish- the first question is always "aren't you guys gonna seal that"
Never fails!
