it's all in the technique on how you polish. we polish 18-24 square feet per section. You MUST go over the surrounding polished areas where you have had polish splash by running your current area. when polishing the area bottom row closest to you go left to right, top row go right to left. Second row same thing. 2nd row closest to you left to right , 3rd row right to left. think of your area as a box, you want it do the outside rows then the inside rows, then the outside and repeat. most areas should only need to be running 5 to 10 minutes. don't forget to go over the surrounding polished areas wet before you vacuum. This should remove your splash marks.  any questions my cell phone is in the previous email.

It sounds like you could be using too much powder or that stone could be very acid sensitive. Do you have enough  neutral cleaner in your water barrier? You could also try other polishing compounds. MB-22 works great in situation like this.
