Just do the job right, if the customer does not want to pay for the job to be done right then I would not do the job. At the end of the day your name and your company name is on this job. If the quick fix does not last then it will come back on you. You did a poor joib, the customer forget they wanted it done cheap. Is you company name worth the risk. Most work in our business is referral don’t blow it by poor quality work  or doing it half- A.

Thank you for all the replies.I appreciate the help.I like the Fill a chip idea and might give that a try. I have used the CA glue before but not sure if that can be polished as well. I have only polished granite once in the class room setting, not sure how long that will take and more of an issue is I do not have diamonds for granite. This guy wants the job done quick and cheap

Hi James

I do not know if it work on this scratch. But we have been able to hide scratches with MB20 sometimes.

We polished over the area a few times.

Partners,

This picture is of a scratch about 2 inches long and the person wants an inexpensive fix would you suggest just an epoxy fill? Not very deep but can definitely feel it with your finger nail. They were wondering if a clear filler would be adequate?
