Thank you for asking, sorry for being silent we just finished that job yesterday, it was 2500 ft and the first three days were lost as my guys were having major issues, we did end up getting it figured out we did 220, 400 polish, ended up using diamond renew powder and then using the candy vortex pad, the polish left very little etching but 10 sec per tile with that vortex candy pad and it was perfect, thank you for your help

Did you figure out what was causing the etching on that white marble.
Did it work out in the end?

A neutral cleaner will not neutralize an acid, it will just dilute it. You need to use the opposite, ie an alkaline.

I'm running 4oz per gallon of neutral cleaner in the water barrier

Micah,
It sounds like you could be using too much powder or that stone could be very acid sensitive. Do you have enough  neutral cleaner in your water barrier? You could also try other polishing compounds. MB-22 works great in situation like this.
