So we used just the slightest little mist of white crystallizer and hog hair pad on the few etched areas and that made the marks disappear. My Lesson Learned: Before that instance, I had thought about removing the crystallizer from the truck cause we hadn't used it in a long time, but that day re-enforced to me to try and have as many tool of the trade as you can with you because you never know when you may need one of them.Second lesson learned: Extremely high gloss floors with lots of sun light exposure should pay more to restore. MicahNice to hear you worked it out. From time to time issues on jobs will pop up.A couple of deep breaths , a little thought and an open mind will usually get you though it.What are candy vortex pads. Was it the lux padThat's the one that has a white face .
Sent from my iPhoneThank you for asking, sorry for being silent we just finished that job yesterday, it was 2500 ft and the first three days were lost as my guys were having major issues, we did end up getting it figured out we did 220, 400 polish, ended up using diamond renew powder and then using the candy vortex pad, the polish left very little etching but 10 sec per tile with that vortex candy pad and it was perfect, thank you for your help
MicahDid it work out in the end?MicahDid you figure out what was causing the etching on that white marble. On Fri, Aug 14, 2015 at 11:13 AM, Hector Castillo <hectorcastillo@comcast.net> wrote:Sounds about right to me.Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone

Subject: Re: Carrera marbleA neutral cleaner will not neutralize an acid, it will just dilute it. You need to use the opposite, ie an alkaline.
Sent from my iPhoneI'm running 4oz per gallon of neutral cleaner in the water barrierOn Thu, Aug 13, 2015 at 4:53 AM, Kevin Hudson <klhudson16@comcast.net> wrote:Micah,
It sounds like you could be using too much powder or that stone could be very acid sensitive. Do you have enough neutral cleaner in your water barrier? You could also try other polishing compounds. MB-22 works great in situation like this.
Send a pic of the stone!
