I would have it professionally cleaned.  If you do try yourself use distilled water. Also after it dries the first time use a clean brush and just brush and vac it prior to getting it wet.

Hi partners,

My tech did a marble floor the other day and protected the carpet (very expensive carpet from China) with tape and plastic but some of the slurry slipped under and dried out. I will go there tomorrow to clean.
The carpet is a darker color Wall to wall green with some design to it.
I will probably just try some water and then use my wet vac to remove it.
Any thoughts on this?

Thank you, Chris
