Unless you have professional cleaning experience with fine fabrics such Fabra Cleen does, don't play around with it. This is sound advice.
If it is a wool carpet, get some Woolite. It is a vey good product.BOn Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 8:44 AM, stuart rosen <mail@stoneshine.com> wrote:
Yes that's good advice-clean as much slurry out of the carpet using a soft brush and vac.Be gentle and take your time.I would call Brian for a good referral. On Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 8:06 AM, Brian Kornet <bkornet@fabracleen.com> wrote:Not bad advice Bill. With wool, you want to use a soft brush to loosen up the slurry then vacuum. Adding water will just reactivate the slurry. If you are still in need of cleaning after vacuuming, call an IICRC certified profession. You can call me for a referral in your area or go the iicrc.org website to locate a certified professional technician in your area.

I would have it professionally cleaned. If you do try yourself use distilled water. Also after it dries the first time use a clean brush and just brush and vac it prior to getting it wet.Bill SelikGourmet Stone CareHi partners,
My tech did a marble floor the other day and protected the carpet (very expensive carpet from China) with tape and plastic but some of the slurry slipped under and dried out. I will go there tomorrow to clean.
The carpet is a darker color Wall to wall green with some design to it.
I will probably just try some water and then use my wet vac to remove it.
Any thoughts on this?
Thank you, Chris
