We use both methods. Powder is slower but works, torch we use more often.Although we use the big propane tank that goes on a gas grill and the flame thrower I thing roofers use.The driveway below had (two) 2’ x 2’ oil stains right in the middle. If you look hard you can slightly see lil shading but I used both methods on this drive.
