From the last Pic if it's not the above did someone already try to recolor the grout prior and either it's wearing off or when the wipe off excess they removed some of the colorant leaving it inconsistant.  If this is the case try a paint stripper like jasco and scrub the grout.

I looked @ a job. White grout lines have a black residue on top. I can scratch away the black residue with a key. The question I have, why the black build up? See attached pitures.
