I agree with Bill the crystal damage may still be present!

Tony, Looking at it I do not think you will be able to fully remove the crystal damage.  I would try 120 copper then go to 120 to 1800 resins.  would not make any promises.  I just wonder if they can find a larger escutcheon to cover the damage.
