Here's the thing-True quartzite is acid resistant and harder than Granite.The way to test it is the lemon test and the glass test.If it etches it ain't quartzite.If a piece of glass can scratch it- its not quartzite.If it doesn't etch and the quartzite scratches the glass then it probably is quartzite.Products like super white and or calcite white(along with others) are sold as quartzite but are found to be dolomitic marbles in many cases.Tread lightly---On Mon, Nov 2, 2015 at 5:34 PM, Fhueston (via sccpartners list) <nobody@simplelists.com> wrote:
