Thank you all for the feedback , that's what I figured more or less 2 nights of stripping 10 hours per night also last stripping I did I use a black pad with stone pro stripper solution and works great very helpful comments.
Felipe,On similar sized stripping jobs, working solo I've done 175-200 sq ft per hr. This assumes it's pretty wide open spaces and no issues with stripping.Good luck.Blain Haeg

Subject: Re: Terrazzo floor
I agree with Randy-In many cases we will start terrazzo jobs with 70 metals right to the wall. After that first cut we will strip before progressing forward. If you grind first you will make stripping less tedious for sure.I agree with Brian- In the beginning it can be confusing to price stripping. How many days will it take you to strip the floor?

You need to figure out how the the stripping is going to take. Then calculate the time by your rate. Taking an arbitrary figure that someone else charges is not the way to price your work. Just my two cents.

Felipe,
Charge at least .50-.75 cents a square foot. Remember, that crappie has to be dumped somewhere. If you have to haul it away I would charge $1.24-$1.45 per SF. Good luck.
